The History of Gusli
This Gusli instrument has existed since 591 A.D in the Baltic region of Europe. These instruments that are now shared in several countries of Europe have several common elements of construction. This instrument is very similar to the harp or zither, with multiple strings and is also made out of carved wood. This instrument is a chordophone, with a Hornbostel-Sachs classification of 315.2. The Gusli is made out of wood and are tuned by the strings A, C, E, G, A.
